Summary

Machine Learning is a discipline of where domain wisdom, mathematical and programming skills intersect.  We have a strong emphasis on building systems that will generate analytical results that have a high confidence in the conclusions they generate. We use our Disciplined Agile Delivery methodology to ensure that conclusions can be made from the data early, cross-checked with domain expertise and incremented upon, rather than blindly allowing machines to force-fit a conclusion that the data may not support. 

Our software development process delivers high quality models with low defect rates in a timely manner. Incremental delivery is invaluable to clients particularly in this area and ensures that the expectations from the data are managed in a predictable manner, regardless of the quality or uncertainty associated with the data.  We will challenge our customers’ input data to check for bias, and always take a scientific approach, even if that means we have to cut the project short! 

We have created 

  • Novel graph based recommender, using Neo4j,  for use in life coaching.

  • Investigated the application of <insert ML techniques here> to  ECG (Electrocardiogram) and PPG (Photoplethysmography) signals to derive useful medical insights.

  • Used computer vision techniques to monitor manufacturing output.

  • Airspace deconfliction using deep reinforcement learning.
